Sam Cochrane
Sam Cochrane is an emerging writer/performer and the Artistic Director of Gigglemug. His debut show was the five star Edinburgh Fringe hit ‘Timpson: The Musical’, based on and sponsored by everyone’s favourite high street shop Timpson, for which he won The Stage Award for Acting Excellence. He has also co-written ‘RuneSical’ based on the Bafta-winning game RuneScape and ‘Scouts! The Musical’ created in partnership with the Scouts, which received a WhatsOnStage Award Nomination for Best Off-West End Production. Sam performs regularly with his improvised musical about gossip 'The Bean Spillers'.

Sam wrote and performed in the scripted comedy podcast ‘Archergeddon!’, an apocalyptic parody of The Archers starring Mel Giedroyc, and wrote 'GiggleMurder Mysteries' consisting of the audio dramas ‘Murder on the 12:32 to Bristol’ and ‘And Then There Were Some’.

He is a member of the National Youth Theatre, has a Diploma (DipLCM) in Musical Theatre Performance and studied scriptwriting at the National Film and Television School.

Sam is currently developing two TV series, a comedy drama called ‘Ballistic’ and a drama called 'Get Well Soon'.
