Lynsey writes female-led crime, sci-fi, period and horror features and TV projects in a punky, percussive style.
Recently shortlisted for the Edinburgh TV Festival’s ONES TO WATCH TV talent programme, Lynsey is currently in development with award winning producer/director Annie Griffin of Pirate Productions with TV project GAELS, co-written with Caitlin McCarthy (Academy Nichol’s Top 50 Female Writers), the project has received financial support through Creative Scotland.
Her feature project THE COMPUTER is in development with BIFA nominated producer Jessie Mangum and was selected for 2022’s EIFF Talent Lab Connects program. In 2023, she was commissioned by the multi award-winning Mercury Studios to write a film for a top British music act’s concept album.
In 2020, Lynsey was selected for BBC Scottish Voices. Her TV project, MADGE, was recently in development with BBC Scotland and her first feature script LITTLE HAZARD was shortlisted for the BAFTA Rocliffe Film Showcase. Her grounded sci-fi TV project DARCY GLEN was long-listed for the prestigious Sundance Episodic Lab in 2020.
