Jonathan and Fiorella are English and French and met on a train between Paris and Venice when they were students. They have been writing together ever since.
Their writing background is in theatre. Their first play was selected to be part of the Royal National Theatre Studio’s New Writing Festival. Their second was nominated for the prestigious George Devine Award by George Devine’s widow and Beckett’s set designer Jocelyn Herbert.
After their adaptation of Thomas Hardy A Pair Of Blue Eyes, received critical praise in the National press, it was performed at the Assembly Rooms as part of the Edinburgh Festival where it caught the attention of several film and television companies including Miramax who put on a special performance of the play at De Lane Lea Studios in London.
They have written for Film and Television since then and have also just started writing novels.
Jonathan and Fiorella have also been Script Consultant for Theatre and Film companies and have both lectured and lead drama workshops in theatres as well as being visiting lecturers on Universities and Colleges media courses.
They were both members of The Vipers Nest, a commercial film making collective run by finance and sales company Salt.
