Emmy has a 1st Class drama degree from The University of Glamorgan and an MA in Acting from East 15 acting school.

As well as performing in The West End and various tours (as well as Crimewatch and The Bill – obviously) much of her time as an actor was spent writing and producing shows for The Edinburgh Fringe Festival. 

In 2013 she created Play Phonics - a company specialising in leading groundbreaking literacy classes in Nursery and Primary Schools, using drama, movement and adventure as a means to access learning.

This has led Emmy to create her first children’s TV programme - an interactive literacy series for preschoolers, which is currently in development.
