Patricia Kelly
Patricia is a multi award-winning writer, director and producer, and the founder of MnáMná Films. Her debut feature Verdigris was nominated for five Irish Film and Television Academy awards, won twelve festival awards, and is streaming in Ireland and Italy. Her award-winning shorts screened at festivals worldwide, and her debut radio play was broadcast on RTÉ Radio 1.
Patricia won the 2024 Fís TV Pitching Competition with her TV dramedy Humdrum, which she developed at the 2025 Sundance Episodic Lab, the 2024 Stowe Story Lab Connemara as a Screen Ireland Fellow and will workshop in the upcoming European Series Makers program.
She is attached as writer and/or director on four feature films in funded development with Screen Ireland and is producing a shortlisted Perspectives feature film.
Patricia holds an MA in Screenwriting for Film & TV, a Postgraduate Diploma (Distinction) in Advanced Producing, 1st class BA (Hons) in Literature and is taking a micro-credential in Entertainment Law.
She worked as a script reader for Northern Ireland Screen, is a National Talent Academy mentor, a Film Offaly tutor and guest-lectures at a number of universities. She has been a speaker at seminars and workshops run by Women in Film and TV Ireland, Irish Film Festival London and at the prestigious Camerimage Film Festival in Poland.
Her work is defined by bold storytelling, layered characters and underrepresented voices, with a growing slate of projects that aim to connect deeply with audiences at home and internationally.
