Kala is a UK-born, Sydney-based Writer and Producer with over 18-years’ experience across multiple genres and formats. She is the Creator/Writer of comedy series SPREADSHEET (Paramount+/Channel 4), starring Katherine Parkinson, for which she won an AWGIE for Best Comedy Script, and she recently wrote two episodes of comedy drama series AUSTIN (ABC/BBC) starring Ben Miller & Sally Phillips. She is currently developing several original scripted series in the narrative comedy space.

As a Producer, she most recently produced all seasons of THE INSPIRED UNEMPLOYED IMPRACTICAL JOKERS (Paramount+/Channel 10) and new global comedy travel series THE LIST with the Inspired Unemployed (Paramount+/Channel 10).
