Rebeca is a Welsh screenwriter with a background as a Scripted Development Executive, having worked on projects ranging from made-for-TV movies to feature films before transitioning to writing full-time. Her produced work includes TV movie romcoms and thrillers which have aired on streaming platforms such as Amazon Prime and Paramount+.

She is currently commissioned to write several thriller films for Studio TF1 America. She was selected for the 2023 BBC Writers Welsh Voices cohort and her crime drama Out of the Ash placed in the top 9% of the BBC Open Call 2024.

More recently, she was shortlisted for the brand new BBC Writers’ Long Story Short initiative with her comedy short Dinner with My Dead Family. Rebeca enjoys exploring all genres but is particularly drawn to writing complex characters and intriguing relationship dynamics.
