Simon began in theatre, acting in and directing works by Shakespeare, Brecht, Vallejo and Pinter. His first short film was nominated for best film at Portobello Film Festival and went on to feature in festivals around the world.
His first feature screenplay reached the latter stages of the Final Draft writing competition.
With a passion for genre cinema, his goal is to add a bit of brain to the kind of film traditionally associated with brawn.
