Based in Bristol, Lorna started writing Comedy in 2015 after her career as a freelance Assistant Director in the TV and film industry was brought to an abrupt end by the arrival of two kids!

Since then she has written for Have I Got News For You and Turtle Canyon’s online sitcom, Content Content, and has written jokes for stand up comedienne Helen Lederer.

She has won or been a finalist in many Comedy Competitions including The Sitcom Mission, BAFTA Rocliffe, Funny Women and The Comedy Crowd’s Chorts, and her sitcom Tudor Roses was performed by the Female Pilot Club at The Museum of Comedy and featured Robert Webb, Kerry Howard and Maggie Olrenshaw among the cast.

Lorna has a number of projects in Development including a Comedy Drama with Company Pictures, A sitcom with Adorable Media and a short film with Buffalo Dragon. She is also working on a musical theatre piece which she hopes to open in Edinburgh next year.
