Dominic graduated from Bournemouth University with a BA (Hons) degree in Scriptwriting for Film & TV in 2001.
In June 2011 he won the PREQUEL TO CANNES FEATURE SCREENWRITING PRIZE for his drama FAITH, a bleak unflinching look at the life of a London street prostitute. Dominic’s writing continues to place highly in competitions, most notably reaching the FINAL TEN of FINAL DRAFT’S BIG BREAK FEATURE COMPETITION (2016) in the FAMILY/ANIMATED category, the FINAL TEN of STAGE 32 TV WRITING CONTEST (2017) and the FINAL TEN of Idris Elba’s GREEN DOOR, GREEN LIGHT INITIATIVE (2017).
In 2008 Dominic’s first short film AGN, produced by Norwegian production company Split End, was broadcast on Norwegian TV channel TV-Vest. He went on to be commissioned for a second short film in 2010, the mystery thriller THE TRAVELLER for LA based director and producer Musaab Ag, a third ECHOES IN THE SILENCE in 2013 for director Richard Ellison and in 2018, his fourth short film A PERFECT MOMENT IN TIME (Jake Griffin – 2017) was an Official Selection at the BIRMINGHAM FILM FESTIVAL and THE NATIONAL STUDENT FILM FESTIVAL.
Since becoming a full-time writer in 2010 Dominic has been commissioned for seven feature screenplays and has worked as a script editor on other projects, including the feature thriller THE DYING EYE (Shiphrah Meditz – 2013).
