Lee Helliar has worked in creative media since 1997. She set up her own production company in 2003 and whilst still keeping her toe dipped in the craft side with camera, lighting, Steadicam and 3D, she has concentrated on producing and directing for the last 8 years, whilst also developing her writing career.

Her viral mockumentary Under Offer, about daily life in a Chelsea Estate Agent, was released online with great success, amassing 130,000 ‘hits’. The Daily Mail thought it was real and The Times followed up with a two-page spread which was followed in subsequent days by the red-top papers.

Lee has recently been commissioned by BBC Comedy to write and direct a comedy taster tape and is working on several other comedy projects, a number of dramas and two feature scripts, as well as her short film Drive. She is also developing several lifestyle programmes and factual documentaries.
